I am David Valentyne a British born National with strong influences and links to South Africa. I am a curious photographer who has loved photography and been mesmerized by the power of capturing a moment since I was a lad growing up in SA.

Welcome to my collection of photographic images. I love life, nature and all of the wonderful splendour I find when I’m out and about exploring. I don’t simply take pictures. As I see it, I capture images and craft moments into small masterpieces.

I savour every step of the process as a photographer from exploring different venues, taking in diverse sights, training my eye to seek out creations, interpret and record our living habitat with fresh perspective.

Through this transformation I aim to finish work that will inspire in the viewer, perhaps not wonder, but always the opportunity to see the magic I see and experience my expression and passion through this art form.

My objective is naturally to capture that elusive perfect image. And so every image I complete I am one step closer. I hope you enjoy what you see in some of my portfolio and get to feel and find some of the charm I am experiencing.

To me photography is more of an on-going passion rather than a hobby. This means I will take the time and do whatever it takes to create the image that brings to life the visual dream. I look forward to hearing from you so that I may shape a small masterpiece for you.
